"Ooh, it looks so pretty in your handwriting, Lan Fan!" Ling cooed, hovering over his vassal's shoulder, "I love these characters! So nice..."
Alphonse traced the carvings on the desk and blinked. "This is definitely the General's writing. And I think I know what he wrote."
"WHAT!? IMPOSSIBLE! That language has been dead for years!" Sierra cried.
"I know but... when my body was in the Gate, I kept reading the inscription on it over and over again. And subconsciously, I figured out what it said. You know, how you spend time in one country for so long that you start to pick up the language?"
"So then..." Ling blinked, "What does it say?"
"Ummm... I think it says... umm... well, I don't know all of it, but it says we need to find something..."

Lan Fan blushed a bit. "Thank you, Young Lord."
Ed suddenly looked to Al in shock. "Al, really, you-- I mean, you can decifer what it says?" he asked amazed and stood next to his brother. He then looked at the writing a little more cloesly and blinked. "Look for something? But what? What does the General want us to find?"
Cathy thought hard, but couldn't come up with anything. "I don't... know..."
"Wait a minute!" Ed said suddenly and pointed to a particular word on the table. "I recognize this word... It means Ishvalan. I saw it the one time I was in the gate..."

"Hey YEAH!" Alphonse agreed with a nod, "It says 'Find the Ishvalan'! That means...! That means... what does that mean?"
"It means that once again, we have to go hunting for Scar, " Sierra sighed, adjusting her military jacket.
Ling raised his and Lan Fan's hands in glee. "We can do it! Just use the Dragon's Pulse like last time! It'll be a snap!"

"SCAR!?!?" Ed protested out loud. "Why does the General want us to find Scar for?" he snapped. Although Scar helped them defeat the homunculi and the country was at peace with the Ishvalans again, he still didn't like the idea of working with Scar.
"Would Scar know something we don't?" Riza asked, looking to Sierra.
Lan Fan nodded to Ling and looked to the others. "We may not have to use the Dragon's pulse if he's helping rebuild Ishval with Major Miles."
"Actually, Miles got promoted to Lieutenant Colonel now!" Cathy piped in. The others looked at her confused. "What? I've been researching the rebuilding development of Ishval..." she said and blushed a bit.

Sierra put a hand to her chin. "Hmmm... I think Ishvalan religion might have a clue as to how we can get Roy back to normal and banish Asmodeus back to where he came from."
"Really? There's such scriptures?" Alphonse asked in surprise.
"I'm sure every religion as their own take on demons," Ling chirped, "I know the Taoism of my people does." He looked over at the others, "You said once a long time ago Scar was a priest? He was able to read ancient Ishvalan? The General must be right about going to him for help."
"Alright then," Sierra said, grabbing the receiver to Roy's telephone, "I'll call up Miles and tell him we're on our way. The rest of you inform Ms. Curtis and her husband of our plans. They're welcome to come if they want. Lieutenant Havoc, stay here with me. From now on, you're under my command until Roy returns, understood?" She grinned sadistically at her boy-toy, "You'll be my personal assistant. Think you can handle a beast like me?"

Havoc wasn't trying to look shocked as Sierra said that and smirked. "Of course, love! Or should I say "Yes, sir, General?" he asked, and chuckled.
Ed rolled his eyes at the two. "Let's go, Al. Cathy. We'll go tell Teacher about what's going on," he said and began walking out, dragging his brother and his girlfriend with him.
"Should we really leave Roy's office like this though?" Cathy asked, blinking as she was pulled along. She looked around the office and frowned. Her brother's office. The place she always came to visit her brother when he was busy with work. It wasn't recognizable anymore and it made her heart sink.
"I'm sure Breda and the others will clean it up..." Ed mumbled softly. In all honesty, he hated seeing the office like that too. 'And this all happened just to get this stupid thing back...' he thought, fingering the pearl in his pocket.
